JGMF:
! R: symbols: % = recording discontinuity; / = clipped song; // = cut song; ... = fade in/out; # = truncated timing; [x:xx] = recorded event time. The recorded event time immediately after the song or item name is an attempt at getting the "real" time of the event. So, a timing of [x:xx] right after a song title is an attempt to say how long the song really was, as represented on this recording.

! R: seeder notes: "Thanks to Chuck F. for the awesome seeds."
! P: s1t01 HSII is pretty tight, exceeds my expectations.
! R: s1t02 GOOMLW static @ start
! P: s1t02 GOOMLW great to hear him working some provocative R & B this late in the game.
! P: s1t04 STOF comes in on the second verse - sheesh. John took a long lame feature that didn't work for me.
! P: s1t05 Breadbox good, fine, old man guitar playing.
! song: "Johnny Too Bad" (s1t06): Public debut of this relative obscurity (?) from the Harder They Come soundtrack. Jimmy Cliff released it on his 1989 album, when he crossed Garcia. I'd have to check arrangements, but I'll take the Spinners 1970 original all day long. Also 9/10/94, 3/5/95, 4/14/95, 4/21/95, so a five-timer, probably should be considered a rarity.
! P: s1t06 JTB is a running song, it's got great self-propulsion.
! P: s1t07 Deal still good energy on the guitar.
! P: s2t02 The Maker: This is one that really benefits from the chiller vibe of the JGB. Garcia could never just gently groove this way with the GD. Now, it may be that he is lost, doesn't remember how to start, or he's just enjoying himself. (Or both.) Big pitch-bending 12 min range.
! P: s2t04 E I am not usually a fan of this, but I like it at this tempo. First performance since 5/2/92.
! P: s2t05 DLG an interesting combination of upbeat, almost New Orleans tempo with a little minor blue on it. Doing some little direct punctuations late 6, to good effect. Very good DLG to 7 minutes in. That was a very good DLG.
