Horses, cocaine and, 231

So many books. Took my Kreutzmann 2015, no time to really engage it, but wanted to commune with it a little bit, form some expectations. Glad there is an index, just opened to the back and my eye drew to the entry "horses, cocaine and, 231".

"hotels, destruction at, 314" sounds promising, too.

Sounds like this is going to be entertaining, at the very least.

  1. In which Bill tells the tale of why he embarked on the '78 tour (that ended in Egypt) with a broken wrist... "Wild man" doesn't begin to cover it...

  2. Yep, definitely a light, fast read, not without its share of controversial opinion, though, in a sort of TMZ fashion. I still enjoyed it, though.

  3. "Tell It To Me", as done by Garcia and Grisman on 12/9/91, includes the verse "Cocaine's for horses, not for men | doctor say it kill you but he don't say when".
