DeleteRight; I didn't get your system at first and the names get confusing but I'm not referring to the young and still living Samson Grisman who plays bass, but to the elder trombonist Samson (the first), who was David Grisman's father.

Oh man, I was confused. Thank you for clarifying. I had forgotten that Grisman's father is so similar to Jerry's - also died young, IIRC.
